Hot Weather Safety for Dogs: Summer Tips
Hot days are fun and risky: here's how to keep it the first one.

Hot days are risky for dogs, who cool down mainly by panting. Plan walks for the cool parts of the day, carry water, and know the signs of overheating. Flat-faced breeds, overweight dogs, puppies and seniors need extra care.
If you see heavy panting, drooling, bright red gums or wobbling, start cooling your dog and call a vet. See heatstroke in dogs.
