First aid
Hit by a Car
Even if they get up and seem fine.

Emergency: go to a vet now. Do these steps on the way to the vet, or while someone else calls ahead.
What to do
- Make sure you're safe from traffic first
- Put a soft muzzle on them (a scarf or leash) unless they're struggling to breathe or vomiting
- Slide them onto a flat board, coat or blanket to carry them
- Keep them still and warm
- Go straight to a vet: internal injuries often don't show at first
